Healing Snow

What snow means to me... In a letter.

Poem Artwork

She questioned me once again, "why do you pray for snow?" I knew, but didn't say... Though her feelings couldn't be hurt any more, memories of her would never fade. For on the day we married it snowed. There was snow again when we received our first born. A son. It seemed that we had snow for each mile stone in our lives... And now you ask, "why do you pray for snow!!" If I could I would tell you Dear. But from where I stand, and where ever you are... God, if only you could hear! Anyway, I need a healing snow, to sooth the loneliness, cover the hurt, and your grave... There, I told you, now you know. Bob-

We come from different sides, but I can assure
you that she hears all you tell her... Each birthday
toast her, each holiday remember her, tell her how much
you love her and you will feel her near you... trust and
believe...

Love and Light,
Lily

The older I get the more I realise just how strong and important associations are...
Bitter sweet words that I understand...
I wish you peace of heart....

well penned & heartfelt Bob
there is always something that triggers a memory, a sight, a taste, a scent, a touch, an object, I thank God for all those he has given me
some brought a smile, some a tears, but it was there only for me.
Peace be with you

William

Yes, it hurts like a hole in the heart. I lost my first wife to cancer and she did not make it to see her 37th Thanksgiving. So every year it leaves a sad void in my heart because you never know when a loved one may go...

Amen

At times like this, memories of those times, like when it snowed, become very important.
