Of strong Irish girls and books that are in …

Molly Harper runs the book-haunt that’s there,

Her best friend Paige is the councilor fair,

And their friend Kate owns Dublin Dummy Dates

(She dates poor Angus, whose bluntness she hates).

Then come the men, each a bit of a ham:

Three real Prince Charmings -- Angus, Tom and Sam.

So although these bright girls have their hassles,

Their men help, teach, and even build castles!

The Irish talk is subtly charming –

“Will we,” “my pet,” no, nothing alarming –

No American curses over naught,

Or dark undertones that make readers fraught.

Though wine flows readily in this trite spin --  

More than it would by an American --

The plot is quick, each character, a frien,’

Sharing their coffee in Coffee Heaven.

So now I’ll close this poetic review

Of Sarah Webb’s book It Had to be You,
