Scald with words whispered
Or ice up in silence unspoken
Blister with rolling tears
Or shiver in irrepressible pain
Burn up with feelings and smother
Or freeze forever in time
If I were to choose...
What will you, if choose
Oh falling angel of mine
Of fire or ice...
For fire will burn,
Scald and blister on touch
Dancing in its colors
With flames it will engulf,
But ice will shatter in shards
A diamond cold even after being held
So white and so unmoving
Oh ice is so cold...so cold

I think I'd choose both. The fire would melt the ice, which in turn would put out the fire.
But then again, my luck, I'd then most likely drown. lol.

I've read something like this before...about which was the better way to die. What inspired this work? Its very nice.
