Everything I ever needed

This is a Valentines Day poem to my wife, Ann.

I never knew how sad life was before you enter in.
I never knew how my heart yearned for a true love to begin.
Then one bright day I met you, dear and my Heart grew that day.
Because I knew I had found true love... a love that came to stay.

I love you, yes I love you. I love you more each day.
I want you and I need you and I will never cast your love away.
I love you, yes I love you.
You are everything I needed all my life.
I’m so happy you have come to me and have become my wife.

When I was young I thought that I needed no one else but me.
But once my eyes beheld you dear I realized what I could be.
My heart looked into a lifetime with someone like you who cared.
And now that I look back on life I am oh so glad I dared.

I love you, yes I love you. I love you more each day.
I want you and I need you and I will never cast your love away.
I love you, yes I love you. .
You have stayed through joy and strife.
Now I need to tell you Dear, I’m so happy you’re my wife

Now I look back upon my life. It was a roller coaster ride.
It was exciting and sometimes scary but through it all you were by my side.
I now have memories of our love which I hope I never lose.
The best of all is the fact that those memories were all because of you.

I love you, yes I love you. I love you more each day.
I want you and I need you and I will never cast your love away.
I love you, yes I love you. I’m so happy you’re my wife.
You are everything I ever needed to help fulfill my life.
