An Angel came into my life one day when I was feeling low.

I was caught up in her warm gentle smile and those blues just seemed to go.

It was reminiscent of rebirth for me because my former life was now past.

I joyfully leaped into my new life for true love had found me at last.

She stood by me through good times and bad and comforts me still when I get blue.

I love to hear her sigh in the night and my world renews with the words, “I love you.

In my youth I thought I was a strong man and I handle life as it came.

I never wondered why I felt blue until into my life she came.

Now I look back and realize that throughout all my youthful days I had been wanting.

I did not realize that all those youthful days it had been her love that I was hunting.

Now I look back and celebrate because we had many years of love and joy.

She has blessed me with two beautiful girls and a strapping baby boy.

The children are all grown up now and they have kids of their own.

Now I have my wife, my kids and five grandchildren.  I will never be alone.

Love is good and kind and gentle and it can make you want it more.

Since the Angel that I spoke about came into my life I have been sitting at Heavens door.
