This  multi-mother should well be ashamed,

For parenting way more than her fair share.

Excess human population has to be blamed

For many severe ills earth has to bear.

When fresh water and food are running low,

Good living space is giving major cramps,

Parenting six kids deals our world a blow,

But fourteen! On raw sensibilities tramps!

A conservative guess at costs for these dears,

To get them out of the hospital in good health,

And get them through first seventeen years

Will approach $5 million — mostly tax wealth!

Even if parent for funds not desperate,

There is something morally unstable

About grabbing resources at this rate,

When others scrape to put food on table.

Medical technicians who let this go down

Should be doubly ashamed and red faced,

If not horse-whipped and run from town

For decision so injudiciously based.

Artificially prepped mother should agree,

Before being allowed to continue on,

To limit embryos to less than three,

Depending on kids already known.

The last thing we need is a kid factory

 Running anywhere on this fading earth.

Stopping human litters is one story

That would have a positive worth.
