I lie upon my bed of dreams
hoping you will appear
You are so busy with your schemes
don't know if you'll be here
I long for you with all my heart
my mind can find no rest
I feel the essence you impart
with head upon my breast

Oh languid days of summer spent
now fall is truly gone
will winter bring us discontent
no beach to lie upon
These days my love, are skimming by
like waves that come ashore
Soon we'll be like clouds in the sky
dispersed in the azure

Like  blades drawn across the night
singing exotic tunes
My fate is caught up in your flight
that captivates the moon
I'm wishing on the stars above
 imagining  their glow
The bed gets lonely for our love
whilst time I cannot slow

This is a most touching write, as your words seem to long for the times gone by, knowing that with the winter, the playful days amid the waves and the sumbeams are but a memory. Was it only a summer fling; or will he seek out your love to warm him throughout the frigid days of winter? Lovely, Eileen, take a bow!!
Take care,
Sherry
