I awoke and couldn't fathom anything except
that I was alive and breathing with a raspy sound
I could see nothing for darkness surrounded me

I felt cramped and confined...then realized I
couldn't move...I was about to panic, because
I  cursed out loud but heard nothing...

I screamed still nothing, but suddenly I could
move my left arm...I brought my hand up to my
face, but could not see it...I began to feel my face
and what I felt caused me to scream again...

Another silent scream that played havoc with my
insides, as did the feel of my features which seemed
to be gigantic or swollen...I felt what was supposed
to be my nose and it was like a mountain...I couldn't feel my eyes, they seemed like sunken slits...

My lips were like balloons blown up...I cried
but there were no tears...as I realized I felt like  stone pictures of an Egyptian sphinx came to mind...oh my god! what happened to me...was it an accident , a fire where was I...

Then my arm was once again at my side unable to move something impressed on me that I had been mummified and bronzed...I lie there silently laughing while tearless tears flowed and voiceless curses crowed, with profanity ..as another halloween  passed  within my insanity...
