Was it only a dream
or were you there kissing me
running your fingers through my hair
the moon was pale and in your eyes
I caught a bit of paradise

Was it a dream, or did you lay me down to love
while looking at us were the stars above
Yet, only an eagle eye could see
what you were doing to me

My tongue still tastes you, it wasn't  a dream
the message in my body felt most supreme
all the nooks and crannies have your scent
all my thoughts, are of  you and the moment

It wasn't just a dream, because in the suns gleam there is a glint of  the  imprint you left on me  and anyone can see if they look, you pressed me like you would a rose between  pages of a book

Though some may dream to have what your
tenderness showed, you were not just  a
macho man,but one who can treat a woman
with a gentle caress, make her feel blessed
Not just a dream! .......Or was it?

Exquisite image, with a tantalizing ending. You're so very passionate, Eileen...your ink must have the scent of roses and your pen must be dipped in stardust...beautiful.

For you to feel it that intensely it had to be real whether in a sleepy state or not. Beautiful and lovely dream or reality and most envious one at that. Love and hugs for this mysterious, tender and lovely write. Love, Bonnie

You dear lady fleshed this out pretty well, but I do have to agree with Georg, unless you were making love to a God, you must have prayed fervently before falling asleep. Hugs! Jasmin Horst

Moments like this can seem dreamy, can't they? They are the moments, the feelings, worth remembering. Romantic imagery.
