Waving Flag

Fluttering flag bears Stars and Stripes in rippling pride

Swaying proud adrift Independent Spirit breezes

That with a volley fire and a final Patriot TAPS Salute,

The flag will be folded and presented with distinction

To an American Veteran’s relative.

I am, “We The People,”

We are the eyes of those People.

We are neighbors inside neighborhoods

Of a Star - upon a Star Spangled Banner,

Where hand in hand, We Unite

Into these United States

Of “We The People” Unity.

What Is Love

But agony with total frustration,

Where one goes left,

And the other goes right,

Upon navigating Love

In Trials and Tribulations.

That within the worst,

Two as one, find the best

Reason that unites them,

When they meet in passion

On trails of Titillations.

Tintinnabulations of love

Do pound hearts together,

Upon love melody rhythms

Baring great passion crescendos

That peak high in climatic amore.

Time Travel Poetry

Wraith of my mind,

Let us time travel

To Shakespearean plays,

Hearing Othello upon a stage,

Or hear Homer upon a hill

Recite the Iliad and the Odyssey.

One could hear Robert Frost recite,

Upon a JFK inaugural speech.

Oh To Be a Poet time traveling

The verse of time woven words,

By Masterpiece Poets of Literature.

When poets feels a inflection of verse

That ripples in time wave precise delivery

The Canterbury Tales of Chaucer,

Or Victorian Browning’s Men And Women.

Of the woe, to hear the Raven by Poe,

Those nailing words of Sylvia Platt,

The Drama and Tragedy exquisite ecstasy

That hears the wraith of ghost writers,

As the Leaves Of Grass are laid bare,

To ponders as if they were written alive

Airports

Airports of flight departures and arrivals

Moving people to and fro distant destinations,

Upon worldwide stratosphere jet streams,

Where airports are grounded level pit stops.

Runways takeoff - landing of different directions,

Upon thrust they accelerate to become airborne,

While gliding down they brake to quick landings.

Where taxiways move planes to docking stations.

Terminals line up planes, to ramp moving passage ways, 

As travelers move in and out of airport security terminals

With checked and unchecked loaded bundled baggage

They then accent up, only to land at another airport.
