Poem Artwork

Pyre Of Flames

Torn asunder turmoil, boiling inside out
Twist taunt, wrought worn, terse tense tension
Turn left woe, turn right despair - quagmires
Torment seeded, entanglement weeded - scorn

Tear fear apart, dye cancer doubts – spreads mad.
Introvert reclusive, shell cloister, wrath wraith
Alone, security blanket, amid tears self-destruction
One retreats, amid solemn-sad, secluded isolation.

Sleeping away, One’s American Dream – be lost prison
Four walls, close amid choke hold - room strangulation
Within living without Democracy, Freedom, ‘n Liberty
Invisible interment concentrations - simply give up.

Quill till, tempestuous quiver - river finger fraught trails
Blank mind, virgin paper - dew awaits stains, amidst dire pain
Ballcock opens – small, but this deluge opens flood gates
Damnation dam, held within, bursts out of its containment.

Fingers tap dancing feeling lashing words a gist whip tales
That only one, can see, what was being held in mired darkness
Where in releasing frustration, the mountain in piled negativity
Comes out in flashflood, upon dessert smiles - once being desert.

Relieve, being your mellow meadow mind, creating wild flower thoughts
That again, the brain, can seed, alive grain, sprouting buds - anew life.
Trick being, do not let it, destroy you, in giving up, upon thy Democracy
That one finds amidst Freedom of Expression and Liberty of Emotions.

One must thunder paper, before hurricanes build up - level five devastation.
One must, use elocution ink, before lightning words strike family ‘n friends.
One writes, to oneself in private sessions that releases thy demon wraith
One must learn, to do it, when needed, to never let, negativity control you.

See that pyre baring shredded paper
See that pyre match, light up the past
See that pyre flame, alight the future
Pyre Of Flames

Your wordsmithing is at it again. From the very alliteration spilling forth in the despair section to the enlightening words of the coming to terms with section, you will always have the ability to use multiple adjectives and adverbs to offer the gist of what you wish to say so uniquely and totally, yours. Viva the poet!

This line I believe is key, "One must learn, to do it, when needed, to never let, negativity control you." Amen X 110!
