I

One vowel that every human can relate to, yet in that I, how many of us, are lost between two eyes.

Poem Artwork

“I”

Mime words, be “I”, quick sand rip poured
Shifting hourglass grains, go-ing down drains
To Be naught invincible, but Bee eyed invisible
Ghost Writer of rhyme, twisted up bye time.

Me name, be “I” – My tag, does naught matter
Adrift consonant vowels, “I” do smatter splatter
Anonymous “I” Bee, Anonymous “my eyes” dew exist
Hollow voice that did echo, once upon a Rasputin time.

“I” such a lone vowel, alone be in solitude confinement
“I” be two eyes that one nose, smells in nostril refinement
“I” be two ears that hears no one around, butt “I” retirement
“I” be young, gone awry, wrinkles wry weathered entrenchment.

“I” be that mirror that falls apart, before my aging eyes, balding hair
“I” did use, Super Glue, to try patch together, Me live falling apart
Before Me, own two hears, be speckled, be spectacle, to be focused
Why, I became so stuck, on myself, “I” tried TP, GEEZ BEE BIG Mistake.

“I” did take time, in some hot shower, coming apart in seams of reality
“I” it seems, just had to just turn the mirror around, amidst self-reflection
Writing a sense tense sentence of (YOUR NAME), be blessed with existence
While you may need plastic surgery, keep away from that “I” Super Glue.
The TP does not help either, use it for the - BUTT questions in your life.
