Dost Compost Depart

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

I love to write Poet Tree from The Circle Center Compass perspective.

This Tallmadge High 1966 graduate has wrinkled in a $100 bill. That from the HeART of Ohio, he now is Austin's HeArtMosphere Poet. Saying this, means I am just an American Dream gone bust. That this poet Will - Dost Compost Depart.

Dost Compost Depart

Dyed Bee worn words
Be a perfect wilted rose
Texas 100 plus 1 shrivels
Sun scorch Lone Star dried.

Entrusted perfect, amid red bud spring
Encrusted rosy, alas s-hell blackened fall
What was then perfect, TOO Bee no more
Imperfection does age youth - to antiques.

Water will always seep, eternal see level
Amid moon’s reflective gravitational seeded tide
Rising, falling; global warming does EVAP arise
Then rain thunders, to reap mountain waterfalls.

The rose sprouts skyward, bent bye wry wind
To and fro gentle,  onto tornadic snap ‘n gales
Thorns dew spread out, to prick bloody fingers
Rose awaits Too Bee pollinize inseminated brittle.

Texas 100 plus 5 dead knell beat - RIP Taps heat
What came from Earth, Dost Compost Depart.
