Tallmadge - Time Peace Blessed America

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

This Poet is THS proud, growing up in Tallmadge High(s), aloft the HeART of Ohio; alight Ohio being the HEART of these inspiring United States. I often use The Circle, The Center, The Compass, and The Spokes of Tallmadge, BEing a Free Spirit THS Writing HeArtMosphere Poet.

Free Verse, BEE about setting free - open minds that do naught follow, but learn from and observe all positive, negative possibilities. Then one can, upon their own choosing traverse upon their own owned path that WILL lead them to their unique future. But today this plausibility is deemed Liberal dejection, by Political Follow ME Conservatives.

But then, I dew wear scar worn welts that feel deep wraith wounds that Have Been HURT - Terminated for Poetry in America; for what, daring to question those who lead US afoul?

So for ever and more, in never more dreams that Wilt dye coffin this poet's verse coffin sheets WILL bear rhyme's eternal sorrows.

This is The Circle, The Center, The Compass and The Spokes of this HeArtMosphere Poet - Free Verse UniVerse - THS 1966

Tallmadge - Time Peace Blessed America

Seconds float Serene Peace, around Clock Wise
Whence Spring Minutes, simmer Summer Hours
Fall onto United States, Thanksgiving communal bounty
Where WE Winter, HeartBeat Family Holiday Greetings.

The Circle of Enlightenment Bears Our Collective Cognitive Consciousness
The Center of Knowledge Bares Our Scholastic Birthright Creed Inheritance
The Compass Be United States, Communicating amid Universal Understanding
The Spokes BEE free flowing fluttering Hours, WE - Free Speech Press
Seasons evolving, revolving round - HeartFelt Family Holiday Greetings.

I see these poems looking back at the time when you had great stability and family and friends all around. But then you went off to war and when you came back, all the industry had left that came up from the south, to return south funded by foreign auto and other manufacturers seeking lower cost workers. So you migrated to the south and dealt with your PTSD by writing poetry.

Terminated for your poetry you have ended up in Texas. But your heart remains in Ohio where it all began. Thanks for the nostalgia.
