I begets I

Imagine yourself in the very center of a mirror reflection vertically, then imagine yourself horizontally, where be yea centered in your time frame reflection?

Poem Artwork

I begets I

Eye to eye
Ear to ear
Nostril to nostril
Hand to hand
Centered be tongue

Dual Sight
Duet Hearing
Duo Smell
Doubled Touch
Disseminated Taste

Mirror bequests center
Left meets right
Right merges left
Divided perfect reflection
Be looking straight ahead
But beyond that finite line
Right eye blinks left eye
Left ear tweaks right ear
Right nostril quivers left nostril
Left hand begets right response
But alas to taste a mirror
“The bitter side” tastes “the sweet side.”

The mirror certainly does conjure up reflection. But I am an identical twin. My brother is the mirror of me, and likewise. Up, until high school, our mother dressed us alike and we were often mistaken for each other, well into college.

I have written a science fiction story, Undentical Twins, posted here. Where a genius creates a clone of himself, and by tweaking the DNA, makes the clone more intelligent than he.
