Dost To Dust – Take One

Dost to dust,
the poet weathers ~
shown dye soul
Trail whether,
whence leather ~
shorn thy sole
Are we
naught heartbeats ~
wondering piece rhyme
Set adrift
vagabond voyage ~
wandering peace time

Dost to dawn,
dye light awakens,
within introspection
Where sunshine
full fills,
dire shadows,
to share perception
Dust to pastels,
we tap dance,
heartbeat’s poet percussion
Prancing down vowels,
reverberating
consonant conclusions.

Dost one foot
follows another,
where our feat
traverses
The meter of thy feet,
spring upon
troubadour traversals
Dust one character,
falls beyond another,
writing dispersals
Recording
transgression and tribulation,
amidst blank verses

Dost to dusk,
we must neigh,
knight fall,
lit
deposit depositions
Letting verse,
gravity settle
down on,
whist
compost compositions
What weight will assume,
dye poetic aftermath
grave reposition
To dust headstone
novel bookshelves,
vintage lineage
reverberation

Dost to but,
one adds t,
and sits on their butt,
contemplating poverty
Since writing verse
leave one
To Be pawn,
upon
once in time poetry
Made cents,
upon lines of
Dead Poet Society,
ghost writing property
Anonymous acclamation
residual residency,
be lame,
naught fame
prosperity
