The Last Liberal

Ghost writer, out of rhyme
Wraith riding, another time
Dead beats, bee graven poetry
Fading in coffin, closed enclosures

On my Birthday, I invite my Invisible Dead Beat friends over to celebrate being The Last Liberal. I like to have pun with wraith words.

Can you feel the Love Melody
That blesses Our Divine land
Where the Earth and winds join
To play God Bless America tunes

Rocky Mountain highs
To see shore tides
We are these United States
Singing in musical harmony

Dost naught your heart beat in Pride
Feeling the heritage, WE are born with
Where birthrights shout out Proud
In Amazing Grace, We are Americans

Northern Great Lakes
to Gulf of Mexico shores
We are these United States
Singing in musical harmony

Fluttering Flag of red, white and blue
We are a Nation, under God’s equality
Where from Black to White hues
We ALL flow red in Full Blooded Patriotism

I praise you for recognizing that to be an American, (the country, not the two continents) means to be inclusive and fair to all who have a rightful right to be within our boundaries.

Does the engine that creates our innovation and wealth, immigration, now cease? Or does it continue on in some form that will pull everyone together in agreement about what it means to "come to America."
