Can't go back and do over what we do out of what we feel we have to. Would he have stayed things might of turned out differently. I always like to lie under a willow tree and spend my thoughts and let my heart flow freely, but a yew tree is where he found her when he arrived back. Nice write.

Beautiful and endearing work on your poetry Belle.
A search for the ghost of a chorus girl chorine haunting a costume designer’s Manhattan apartment leads to an encounter with an eccentric, mischievous witch with the ability to send folks back through time…in this case, the 1919 Ziegfeld Follies.
So beautifully penned. The story is so sad and yet so endearing.
Quite the romantic tale this was. I enjoyed every word.
