I Can't Find That Halo!

Art "Fetish Angel"

Poem Artwork

Velvet Sin
By La Belle Rouge

it was love that drew you
so magnificent and true you
felt it surround and drown
in a warm whirlpool of intensity
as a lifetime of “At Last”
flowed between you and me
my depth matched your own
and our love had grown
from a germinating, hybrid seed
of benevolence and need

or was it unleashing of animal lust
Darling, I think you really must
admit it to yourself at last
we will never escape the past
my wings and halo we found
had suddenly fallen to the ground
I can’t bear to wear them again
so all I can offer you is.....
sweet nectar and velvet sin

My Sexy Beast, I offer a feast
of orbs and lips for kisses and sips
we'll love and live with no regret
drink the wine of eros until we forget
halos and wings and other holy things
the night is young and we're on fire
with growing flames of forbidden desire
and I need to feel you deep within
the clutches of my velvet sin

Dear Belle,

In my humble opinion, 'tis no sin at all to enjoy the gifts of the senses given by our Creator. To the contrary, the sin is to ignore those gifts. Once again, you faithfully tend the flames of passion.

Love & Light always and in all ways,
Joseph*

Surely you know that it is no sin, velvet or otherwise, when it is given freely from within those roots tenacious in the fertile soil of love's deepest desires and memories. Truly beautiful.
