with your black tuxedo, bow tie
and your interjected “Indeeds”

I can feel your heart
and understand your needs!

if one didn’t know you better
one might think you, stuffy and cold

but you, Darling Barefoot Bard
are passionate and bold

beautiful soul, tender heart
I’ve recognized your fire and ice
from the very start

you are my renaissance romeo
perpetrator of balcony romance

sensual whispers in the night
urging the broken to take a chance

oozing the warm osmosis of love
from your fingertips and lips
promising a lady paradise trips

hopeless romantic
dreamer of dreams

we weave in and out
of each other’s lives it seems

sweet, masculine keeper of the flame
thoughts of poetic love come
at the mention of your name

a thousand words, a thousand times
you have touched this heart of mine

I weep at your words
feel the force of your fire
warmed body and soul
by tender verses of desire

leaning out over my balcony walls
to better gaze into your eyes
finding them irresistible
comes as no surprise

let me slip off that stuffy tie
that thing needs to go bye bye

and that dignified top hat....
Sir, I’d like to try on that

with some transparent black lace
just to enjoy the look on your face

and to hear you so eloquently express
your pleasure at a lady’s state of undress!
