we entertain no shame
while the world watches us
like two colorful butterflies
encased in a crystal bell-jar
our fluttering hearts blended
in that rare combination
of love’s purity and primal lust
oh yes there is raw desire
and passion that only poets know
but there is that lasting bond
of understanding and admiration
that absorption of the best
and absolution of the worst in us
we touch across a mystic bridge
we fuel our inferno with kisses
originated as softly flickering torches
that burn the black velvet night to ash
when they burst into ravenous flame
your eyes, sweet love, they entice
invite me to disrobe all my doubt
and stand naked in the beauty
of love’s unwavering acceptance
we are poets of love, our pens, alive,
afire with foreplay’s erotic whispers
and golden afterglow’s gentle sighs
we cause the world to wonder
when we make love disguised as words
Now this is what I call words to live by and you bring them to life with your perfect penmanship. Words are meaningless unless you feel their beauty and passion. Always, Paul,
La Belle as always you capture my heart and my mind when you do one of these passionate writes that as poets we all wish and hope they were being directly to us...such is your affect on our hearts. Lovely.

I love reading your poems, you realy touch your readers with your words of passion... Your awesome as always, just so awesome "your poetry like you" just all together romantic and beautiful. love you **STAR
Your versatility is amazing Belle...and this poem I find exceptional. Simile and metaphor delight the mind and reveal, what I consider, an amazing, sincere, and tantalizing truth. Perhaps this just touches me especially, Belle, as I delve into the depth and romance of poetic words and poets themselves who bare their souls for all to read even if only intended for the delight of their muse or the satisfaction of their own imaginations. I believe this to be one of your finest.
Love...from one romantic to another,

Your pen keeps the joy of love and sensuality alive.
I wish I had your pen. Mine is shy. Don't know why - I am passionate about life, but my pen just can't write about love this way. Wish it would! At least just once.
You always portray love soooo beautifully

A search for the ghost of a chorus girl chorine haunting a costume designer’s Manhattan apartment leads to an encounter with an eccentric, mischievous witch with the ability to send folks back through time…in this case, the 1919 Ziegfeld Follies.

You truly are, and may all the pens, of all the poets of love, write on - forever.
