until the world folds around us and we’re lost

wrapped snug in your arms, flesh to flesh
kisses of flame lick my neck and shoulders
melt me down like hot candle wax
til i flow into the cervices of pleasure


ivory and bronze, minor notes of pain
major notes of joy, a crescendo of ecstasy
sing to me your love song in twilight dew
whisper against my ear, your need at midnight
play me with skillful hands of a musical master
rock me, sweet love, to our private rhythm
rock my world with your questing lips
a promise of paradise found in my scent
a taste of my love lingering on your tongue
play me until all my songs capture your ears
and our finale fills the night sky with the light
of a million flaming, shimmering stars
