Queen Of The Night
By La Belle Rouge

Darkness my fate, a wandering soul.
A product of hate and forever cold.
Lips that drip red and eyes of gold fire.
Image lodged in your head, deep your desire.
A heart ancient and dead, not beating in time,
a thirst for blood, a penchant for crime.

Rising up with the moon on vapors of night
my black wings unfurled in frenzies of flight.
Dream on My Darling, take peacefully your rest.
View though your window, the damned now blessed.
Pulsing veins in your neck are calling my name.
Queen Of The Night, no man can tame.

Beautiful your hair shinning in pale moonlight.
Lying on your pillow your face a handsome sight.
Large, capable hands lie still at your side.
Your sensual lips reveal lust you can't hide.
You stir in your sleep and your lashes flutter.
I am still as a corpse and not a sound do I utter.

Standing beside you in deep shadows I hide.
I am your savior.... I am your bride.
Sacrifice to my hunger brings immortality....
I bend over your warm bed, come now with me.
Creatures of the evening, undead with no guilt.
You are mine now forever, your blood I've spilt

So now you've started biting instead of flogging?
I will miss my floggs, buy hey, what's a little nip between fiends?
You write so beautifully Belle, no matter what genre.
In admiration,

delightfully devilish, seductive and deadly. all the sweetness of a dark autumn night, shivering with the coming cold in the howling air pushing the warmth of adreneline through the body... a timely treat.

You're the Queen of the Night. I think you and Jerry Bolton could write up a huge adventure in the bayous. You would scare the living daylights of readers who thirst for this. Just to imagine you two hooking up to write is a thrill in itself.
Jerry's my bud from years back. Tell him I sent you.
