Bronze His Hands, Ebon His Eyes...

Poem Artwork

Ribbons Upon The Floor
By La Belle Rouge

A Double Elizabethan Sonnet

Bronze his hands, ebon his eyes
That became her swift undoing
Passion shared twas no surprise
Sweet springs of youth renewing
Come-hither gaze, fervent kisses
To steal away her very soul
Her Bard Of Passion ‘ner misses
His chance of seduction bold
Upon white shoulders whispers fall
Flamed kisses scorch silken skin
As deep down into hot fires of lust
He draws her once again
Upon loosened laces fingers light
To bare fair bosom in the night

Her breath now heavy, flesh afire
His tongue upon softness dances
She moans aloud in wanton desire
As his caress her mood enhances
Like hungry hummingbird he feeds
On petals of her blossomed flower
She sighs and fears that she shall faint
At the force of his masculine power
As candlelight soft illuminates
Shadows entangled on the wall
All she freely gives he greedily takes
Until he has ravished her all
Basque and ribbons lie upon the floor
Lovers swim in pleasure far from shore

He sure did touch her with fingers like butterflies, not touching her skin, just whispering on the open rose.
