she is a soft cloud of jasmine
drifting on the warm breeze
of his most cherished dream
where love is made of nothing
but the very thought of her
clothed in gossamer moonlight
her full lips pomegranate red
and ripe with love’s promise
she alone is Aphrodite’s arua
enfolding heart, capturing soul
erotically arousing his fantasies
that had long lain alone, forgotten


she is a breath of pure passion
enchanted echo of youthful lust
appetizer for mature appetite
her sensual ink flows like fire
coursing red-hot through veins
of a man who only imagines love
shared with a woman like her
she is spirit of poetry personified
with words leading him by his mind
to indescribable depths of desire
and almost holy heights of love
only a poetess so inspires a poet
