Time Travels

Time, time travels to the end
for me time began... loving you
no other love moves me thus
no other lover earned my trust
two souls entwined for eternity

no longer time, an endless day
mid copper strands, twine threads of gray
but in your eyes my beauty won't fade

how can I tell you what you mean to me
and how this perfect love was meant to be?

so hold me close for time’s while
let me live within your smile
electric dreams far beyond this time and place

loving you....is my destiny
your heart expands when loving me
time’s forgotten in our love poetry

and when at last this present life is through
I want to spend the next one loving you
with graceful hands I long to trace your lips
warm in the pleasured fire of your fingertips

hold my hand throughout time
I am yours, you are always mine
forever friend and lover's tender kiss of fire
just holding you is my true desire
