we’ve been waiting for so long Baby

just like the old R&B song
we’ve been waiting much too long
to get it on

trying so hard not to show
the way these love feelings grow

and no matter what we do
to keep it all undercover
you still dream of me
and i want you for My Lover

both been hiding it so well
but hell....ring my bell
let’s just get it on

i know the night's been cold
i know it's all gettin old
let's heat it up we're not alone
just get it on

i wanna taste your lips, Darlin
feel your arms around
falling down spinning round

drowning in waves of an ocean
of love and lust motion
until all our fire is gone

As I was so gratefully taught, patience is its own reward.... And as with my own personal experience at home, it's always worth the wait. Who wants fast food when you can savor a meal for a lifetime and be 100% satisfied, no need to worry 'bout being hungry in an hour's time ... Truly, to everything there is a season! Brava!
