I will post possibly one more chapter then I'll be deleting the journal to publish in book form. There are more undead adventures to be included in the book!

Lisette's Journal Part 19
By La Belle Rouge

In satin red he clothed pale flesh
and painted my full lips scarlet.
Into society we must now mesh;
sensual enough but not a harlot.
For wealthy men and aristocrats
would always be my meal of choice.
No more light dinners of mice or rats
but fine, bloody banquets of course.
Dark Stefanos was handsome indeed
with his cane and red lined black cape.
For him maidens’ tender hearts bleed
and their slender necks find no escape.
We appeared as if foreign royalty
dressed to kill, important places to be.

Back up stairs and through the oak door
that opened to moonlit world outside.
Wolves in the wood sang once more
and the owl a chilling welcome cried.
With his arms wrapped tight around
we rose swiftly into black velvet night.
What adventure would we find in town?
In obsure darkness I retained full sight.
Creatures of the forest visible in gloom
as they scurried about their feeding time.
Spirits of the dead floating around tomb
lost with no way out of this realm to find,
Our feet touched down on torch lit street;
crowd milling around….so much to eat!
