well,
My Sweet Darling
we don’t need the mistletoe
and we don’t need vintage wine
don’t need to hear“White Christmas” sung
by a choir ringing sweet sounding silver chimes
we don’t need anybody else to make this night complete
all we need are our hands and lips and some fruitcake to eat
just a little fruitcake, Baby, cause I love it so, just a little fruitcake
for some energy you know, just some cherries and some nuts will make the
season happy and bright, all I need is you to kiss, Baby and a little fruitcake tonight
bit of
comfort
tonight!
!
!!!
!!!
so
come
dance
with me
My Love
in candle
xmas glow
as whirling
around tree
what I desire
to feel alive
is to spend
all this night
adoring thee
candles burn
melting down
loving hearts
breath combine
all the comfort
soul and body
met in our love
tonight we find

Always,

...and the Colonel was already behind the tree waiting for the delivering fat boy to take a hike so he could take off the ribbons from his Christmas Present Southern Belle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness... G-string or true lovers' knot here, Belle?! :)) Whatever, tis truly a wonderful Christmas unwrapping... no wonder my old Grandma used to tell me to save the pudding muslin and ribbon tie for "next time"... no wonder her children were Harvest babies... and no prizes for guessing where the silver sixpence lies hidden! :)) A work of art and more than a way to a man's heart. The food of love is here. Have a wonderful time, Darlin. xx
You bear your cross well dear Red, and take it to bed, have fruitcake and nuts instead, how creative you are, and well created your sweet treats ha, Hugs! Jasmin Horst

Whoaaaaa! Gotta luv dem dere fruitcakes and nuts, and doncha ferget dem cherries . . . Don't git much better'n dis . . .
The title Fruitcake And Candles is evocative of the senses taste and smell. I allowed these senses to permeate my taste buds and olfactory before I even read any further...great pre-mind adjuster, Belle...the poetry in the shape of a fruitcake on an elevated cake platform and candle drips with sensuality!!! Tapered and sensuous are these Holidays...send me the scarf when you're finished with it! Happy Holidays, La Belle Rouge...
Well LaBelle you have done it again. I read your sexy poetry and then I get all heated up. But I would not have it any other way. Great writing again, Susan.
