There is a certain sadness to trinkets left behind for the lonely to remember of a brief, but fiery moment of pleasure that, somehow, never returned. Much better for that feeling to be present always in the form of the person staying by one's side.

We treasure and guard the repertoire of love's most precious gifts. The special night when passion paled the moon and stars. Each recollection of a smile or tender embrace when the world had been cruel and our true love comforted us and made the agony go away.
