Nothing is as lonely than to be apart from your one true love
Lonely nights so cold and fretful
Wanting to feel a tender touch
Longing to get my life back
Tired of an empty bed
Seems like an eternity
Since I felt your kiss
The warmth of your embrace
I really must get away from this place
Where there are no tender mercies
Life without you, is no life at all
Oh to feel you watching me
As I brush my hair
Or feel your warmth beside me
As we lay sleeping in our bed
Enough of this misery
Enough of waiting for a sign from above
Time is so fleeting
If only I could escape to love
