They say that love is wasted on the young
But is that really true ?
For I was so young, when I met you
I don’t think it is love of which they speak
Nor passion, not even lust
But romance…..unheard of these days
By those who are so young
For love is not a one night stand
Nor is it a role in the hay
Romance is wanting someone enough to wait
Until the time is right
Romance is knowing that he owns your heart
And him knowing that you are his rising star
Romance is wanting to hear his voice
More than you want your next breath
So you see, love is not wasted on anyone
Not if it’s meant to be
Beautiful Love poem. No, Love is not wasted on anyone. But I do think a lot of people are confused with what Love is supposed to be. Perhaps maybe even so eager to find it that they jump into the first best arms that come along.
