How many poets do you think have rhapsodized
Over ivory or ebony skin and gold or raven tresses?
How many have "fallen into" deep blue/black eyes?
How many go ape to this day over melon breasts?
Men have long received adulation for strong chins.
Their "manly" chests have been duly memorialized.
Bodies like gods have always seemed to be in.
Verse writers have not ignored hard-muscled thighs.
But we change, don't we. Human, believe it's called.
Hair thins and grays. Flesh loses a series of fights
with gravity. Looks-hooked are absolutely appalled.
Practically forced to cheat. Trading-in only right.
Poets are just reflecting on human failure to look inside.
To forget we're not Valentines to be tossed if we fade.
Keeping old and worn unromantic? Not sexy? Why?
Real love's hot for real. Has the balls not to be afraid.
Valentine, thank you for seeing me and loving me anyway.
ME, not a paper doll or a wax museum Catherine Zeta Jones.
Through thick and thin, 'been you an' me, babe.

This wonderful poem brought tears to my eyes from the realness and the humor of it. Real love is an inside thing that radiate outward and takes no notice of flaws.
This is an hilarious, uproaring, funny piece, but oh so true too.

I love milk Chocolate so much I am just buy a candy bar and then celibrate St. Valentines day. Unfortunately there is no one to buy
red roses, Chanel #5, or a heart full of chocolates.
