No matter how often we try to improve our sense of love, we tend to be far too object oriented in our thoughts. Some would argue, there’s an alternate focus. (Image by thisiscolosal.com)

Living Just Might Be…
by Odin Roark
Knowing periscope up
Often ends with periscope down
Diving deep
Down
For like most of life
Seeing what’s above the depths
Or out of our sightline
Knows our sense of “right and wrong “
Gives rise
To challenge
To fear
The unexpected
Often demanding duplicitous attention
Using surprise
As weaponry
Makes feeble the many
Brazen the few
But
The few
Be they
Our defenders
The homeless
Single motherdom
The elderly
Who see differently
Know only
To overcome adversity
Some might see such tenacity
Blind courage
Ignorant determination
Denial of reality
Still
Few of this kind
Would harm an animal
Ignore human desperation
Run from being human
Such honesty
Knows only surfacing
Manning the innate weapon of defense
Letting love be visible
For…
Well…
Truth be told
Love
Unreserved love
Knows no retreat
Even though
Others might disagree
Not knowing
Living probably is
Simply “being” love
to be able to find magic in the ordinary
and an inspiration in terrene..
Ron
Simply "being" love.
Wonderful truths.
Lady Mary Ann
Unreserved love
Knows no retreat
And if we all refused to retreat, what a wonderful world it could be.
