- Fear to act on behalf of human decency and rights bodes paralysis for human evolution. (image by pinterst)

Poem Artwork

Evil’s Chameleon

At once the magician

The power of anything out of the hat

Beckoning broadcast

Sanguine power to watch

For just as fear freezes

So too thaws the past

Where upon deaf ears

History replays

Ancient truths

No amount of hiding

Can contain

Believing he is without rival

Confident of the buttons

White

Black

Pulsating

Red

How rose this humanoid duplicitous appearance change

This uncontained dark embodiment

This rule by discontent,

Often of madness designing mass destruction

Foreshadowing Hollywood versions

Political rants of hawkish lean

Even preparing dictators yet to come

We watch

We cringe

But so many minds prey

Upon destinies of Peoples

Being roiled by storms of passion

Reigning upon their innocence

Such are the awaiting twisted cravings

That never cool

Know not the warmth of sun

Only the ice of all that is dead

With words like hammer blows

Gates protecting the hearts of people

Splinter

Fracture

Fall

For lest we forget

Centuries bury

But also resurrect

Endlessly revealing

For some

Cyclic misfortune

Dismay

Hopelessness

Yes

He died in one life

But might he be back

Haunting the global mirror

An insanity ever reflective

Seeing himself

As once Hitler

As Mussolini

Now as Xi

Or Putin?

Evil’s masquerade

Forever Chameleon

Personally, I don't believe in evolution as it is generally understood within the scientific community. If that were the case, namely the transmigration of species, we are embroiled more in a devolution rather than evolution of the human spirit, given the state of play we are presently in, going from bad to worse. No matter how brilliant our high tech, we humans are still stuck in the old conundrum of good and evil.

A character recognised globally for what he is - One which is reflected in many a mirror, while the pulsating malevolence seeps into the veins of 'others', making them willing participants.
Peace is impossible while there is life in this form.

Without a doubt a powerful statement of a truth, Odin! What happens when they wake from their hypnotized states? Hmmmmm??????

Love ya!
