Flipping Pain

by Odin odin@aflx.com — Read all 3,869 poems by Odin odin@aflx.com

Okay. I’m angry. Trying to ground it. So…100,000 and counting. OMG. Lest we forget, for some of us… without governance and enforcement, there could be 200,000. And… I’m not ready to pack it in yet. Are you hearing me TRUMP!!!! (for anyone following me, allow me to vent with some forgiveness. I’m so pissed right now. 100,000!!!!!!!)

Flipping Pain

So much hurt.

So much pain.

So much…

Ah, fuck it.

Where can you look?

Where can you seek solace?

Where is the lull of a summer breeze?

Well…

Confining yourself,

There’s always a laugh available

In all the hot air moving around.

Monty Python, anybody?

Peter Sellers…?

Oh, come on.

Quintessential meditation with smiles does work.

So much angst.

So much shaking of one’s head.

So much disbelief.

Ah, fuck it.

Where do you look?

You’ve only got your own consciousness.

Your own sense of responsibility.

You own sense of self-worth.

Your own sense of humor.

So…

Might it be time to encourage those of empty principals…

Get your heads out of the quicksand.

You’ll go under.

Get conscious.

Get with living.

Get with survival.

Get with laughs of responsibility.

Get with caring about somebody

Other than yourself.

It just might save your life

Assholes of the unconscious fixation.

Ya…

That’s right.

I’m talking to you…

Jesus…

We’ve got to wake up,

Yes!

Yes, the current situation calls for the president to be presidential. Instead, he acts like an imbecile, followed by ardent followers who believe in his tactics as somehow different and agreeable despite their horrible, bigoted revelations reflected in him.

He is grasping at straws, along with all of his supporters. The key is getting out to vote, everyone, and showing the people that their vote will be counted correctly rather than having them shy away from voting, thinking their vote in their lives don't matter.

Odin, I am with you 100%! Sometimes I really believe we will need a revolution to turn things around. I have no respect for him or anyone who allows themselves to be his puppets. Great vent!

Love ya!

My dad used to say, the dumbest people in the world were on a jury. I think that if he were here today, he would say the dumbest people are the right wing conservatives. They oinly thing they have is their anger. They have nothing constructive to add to the conversation, just their selfish me, me, me, attitude, and their willingness to bow to trump. And the conservative Christians are the worst. These people would have never survived the sacrifices people made and endured during World War 2.

I hate to think how many sleepwalkers there really are. I heard last night with a news pundit that the election could be close. Close? My God, we need to get rid of him, the sooner the better. I feel your pain, anger and frustration.
