Poem Artwork

To Us

You are the soft hush of evening
On a warm summer’s night
The rush in my senses
When a song takes to flight.

You transform my seasons
From winter to spring
You give my heart reasons
To dance and to sing.

And when we’re together
I can see in your eyes
That whatever the weather
We’re in for blue skies.

So let the music keep playing
Let the magic go on
Let our voices ring out
While they still hold a song.

These are the days
We’ll always remember
Till the last rose of summer
Is eclipsed by December.
