Paradise Found

The music of love is forever
It knows no beginning or end
It isn’t enough to praise the song
If you haven’t tasted the waters.

You must also embrace the mood
that travels from afar
Then you can live the music of love
That flows from an old guitar.

Music is the soul of romance
Of that there can be no doubts
Nothing climbs beyond our reach
Nor captures the majesty of the moment
When two hearts pause in their search
Like two lovers on a beach.

They're drifters off to take on the world.
In search of horizons meant for those with an embracable heart
There are no limits to love’s orchestral offerings
For those who know the part.

So let our hearts sing that we might know the truth
Only then dare we say that we have soared
High above the searching crowd
to know that love is the journey
and the vehicle and the purpose
to that place where magic lifts our spirits
and the song of love begins.

I loved reading and just being lost in moment reflecting on the music/songs that propel me straight into those special memories of love. Even love lost can be remembered fondly with that special song.

Enjoyed reading. Thank you for sharing.

Poems about love songs are love songs in themselves. Everyone wants to hear the beautiful music and words of love songs.

Strangely, it is the songs of love unfulfilled or break up that seem to be foremost in the charge for some reason. Perhaps, it's because most of us find that we have more loss in love than gain. It tends to be a learning experience gained later in life for some.

This hit home. All good. BTW, if you haven't watched it yet, tune into Sheridan's "1883" to have your love word epitomized. Music and story keep your eyes moist.

A beautifully melodic piece, Ed. Your lines move with the ease of a love song—quiet, steady, and full of warmth. The blend of music, romance, and the vastness of human longing gives the poem a timeless glow. That image of two hearts pausing on a beach, ready to take on the world, is like an arrow that hits its mark. Fine work.

The Heart's Way by Rebecca McKeehan

Love is universal and not limited to the most perfect among us. In this collection of romantic short stories and poetry, love comes to those who are decidedly imperfect, who possess very real human flaws, scars, and challenges. Awaiting us as we are.
