This book is my first attempt at writing a book, I began it in mid-1997 while living with Jane and Steph and Amy and Kim at my house in Temple, Ga.
The premise of the black top road and the two brothers going fishing, was thought of when I was playing hooky from school with a friend of mine by the name of D. Hill from Bremen, Ga.

Chapter 1
That Black-Topped Road

This road was very familiar to them, Rush and Josh Kiser.  They knew
all the
little nooks and crannies and briar patches, that popped up all over
the
place, leading to their favorite fishing hole, where they always
caught a
number of bream and some mighty ugly looking catfish, as well, hiding
along
the bottom of that shallow, murky pond water.
Rush and Josh were twins , born on the same sunny morning.
All of their friends and some of their family, used to kid them and
say
they
were separated by birth, instead of at birth, because neither one of
them,
looked like the other.
Josh was lanky and red headed, just like his Mama and Rush had wavy,
dark
hair like his Papaw Bill Myers, and was built like him as well.  A
little
on the stocky side, fat, his wife Myrtle called it, but what did she
know.
He used to just say, well, there’s more of me to love and just smile.
This morning started out like any other July day, with Rush
usually
waking up first and either throwing his pillow at Josh and say “Wake
up,
Beavis.”  Josh would roll over on his stomach and pull his knees up
under
reply
“Ok,
Butthead.”  And laughing and Rush feigning like he was disgusted at
him
for
grabbing his butt and said “You better watch out, you might slip and
stick
your finger up your butt hole, and you might just enjoy doing that,
with
all
that on your finger, it might make a good breakfast, for you.”   “Oh
yeah,”
Josh said, “Well, take this” giving him the finger.   “Well,” Rush
replied
“if you have two of them, take one and put it in your mouth and the
other
up
your but and rotate them, every two seconds.”
Just as they were about to really start fighting and making a lot of
racket,
Mom saved the day and called them to breakfast.
She called up to them and said “You two stop what you doing, right now
and
wash up and come eat , breakfast is ready.”
I’m really glad she did, cause I could hear them and it was getting on
my
nerves.  My room was next to theirs and they always did something,
disgusting to annoy me, like making farting sounds, with their armpits
and
doing other vile and disgusting things, like put one of the stupid
frogs
that they caught, under my pillow, right before I went to bed , and
then
would go listen, with their ears stuck to the wall, for my reaction,
and
needless to say, it wasn’t a very pleasant one at that...

You got a good start going with this one, got any others up here? In fact I found a few others that I am going to be reading of yours -- I got a lot here in the horror genre, some of them are Cthulhu Mythos and others are something from my own disturbed imagination.
