I was wheeled on a gurney into an O.R. My family left behind in my room reminiscing of better moments of our times together some praying to the lord to guide the Surgeons hands.
I was immediately surrounded by several doctors in scrubs, I couldn’t see but their eyes, their voices were gentle as angels
Making me feel comfortable, As I render my soul to them, to mend whatever wrong. A female nurse asked me my name and date of birth, to assure I was the right person trusting them.
Once my identification was approved, she utter those words I knew were coming sooner or later, OK Mr. Ambrosio just relax the Doctor will be right with you, he appeared shortly greeted me respectfully with a big smile though I couldn’t see his mouth, his squinty eyes said it all. Are you nervous he asked. No I said through my medicated little white lie, Good he said still smiling
Lets get this over with, then all faded to black.
I felt my self floating slowly like in slow motion, throughout the O.R. saw the doctors working on some one on a Operating table
All seemed to be going smoothly, I heard my doctor’s voice say “great job team sew him up” then I heard a nurses fearful voice yell call the doctor back.
I suddenly found my self floating out an open window I couldn’t control my movements, continuing skyward though beautiful baby blue skies and cottony clouds, I possessed this great feeling of euphoria, no worries no more pain no sense of other surroundings but the destination I was traveling towards, whatever that might have been.
I slowed down as I neared those Heavenly Golden Gates, I saw others like myself also making their way through, one at a time
But there was no sense of time, in an instant I was before this God like man with a beautiful benign face, wearing a golden robe, shoulder length hair as white as the driven snow, long white beard and mustache. Asked me “What are you doing here?” without uttering a word I don’t know I replied as I stared into eyes of innocence.
There must be a mistake some one else said, wearing a white robe and what looked like wings protruding from his shoulder blades (An Angel) Has to be the first time ever, he reiterated also speaking with silent lips. Sorry the keeper of the gate said, we’ll have to send you back, as I exit the gate I heard the angel ask where is he heading to? “Hell the other voice replied”
As I took one step out of the gate, I started falling like a rock
Though an inverted vortex of baby blue walls soften with cottony clouds, I kept falling endlessly like into a bottomless pit.
A jolt awaken me, found myself back in the O.R. My doctor
Still with happy squinty eyes greeted me, Welcome back we almost lost you, he patted me on the shoulders and with a happy voice said you’ll be alright. My eyes closed again was I was wheeled into the recovery room.
I felt warm gentle hands, grasping mine massaging them slowly,
I heard familiar beautiful voices My wife’s for one and those of my grand children, As I opened my eyes every one in the room was smiling, happy that I made it through the operation, after they all greeted me, wishing good luck, one by one they departed temporarily. Leaving only my wife, she smiled again saying the doctor told her I was going to be OK.
I looked at her with sad eyes, a tear escaped the corner of my eye, she asked what’s wrong I told her what had occurred, died and went to heaven and was refused its sanctuary …sent back. As I exit the golden Gates the keeper said to the angel that it wasn’t my time had to returned to the hell I came from, where the healed sick and lame all reside, where laughter and giggles meet sadness and tears, where the Good the bad and the ugly breath the same air, where the rich gets richer and the poor suffers more yet they mingle in the sins of the bodies, where men desire again since Sodom and Gomorrah, to lay with other men, where men
defile their bodies with the ink of barbaric paintings, soon all will come to an end.
I witnessed the Generals (The four horsemen of the apocalypse) on a hill over looking the valley of Armageddon where all the armies of the world gathered, Gathering by the river yes they gathered by the river but this time it wasn’t to lay down their sword and shields and sing praising hymns. I saw them honing their weapons, preparing their horses as the locust nearing
The fields of crops, waited for orders to scorch the earth, for famine is at hand.
I closed my eyes fatigued, I slowly drifted to sleep for I must recover , I was ordained to pass the word of my vision, these were my orders, though I heard it not from the voice of he who kept order within the Golden gates. But from someone higher in rank then he, A light within my mind scribed my destiny, my cross to bare.

These experiences are etched in our minds forever and although we may consider this world as hell with all the sins and afflictions you meantioned...it is not hell to those who loved you and prayed for your successful outcome and recovery. I, as a police officer in California saw these atrocities you spoke of yet I value living more even in this world that is constantly endangered. I truly enjoyed this write and it was an excellent description that you had experienced and I know that you also know and experienced on a regular basis the worlds inhumanity as well as I. Peace be with you.

A great write William. I have read many books on the subject and recently had a friend who visited heaven and had a glimpse of hell. I will post a story about it this week.
