Stuck in the Muck

Having been blessed to live nearly 63 years on this firmament that humankind refers to as "the earth," there are times when I ask myself, "What''s the point?" Perhaps others whom we share the air with have pondered the exact same brief yet poignant inquiry?

Before continuing, let''s check out one source together about the word that will make the point itself about "What''s the point?"

Dictionary.com never “dis-a-POINTS.” The search of the English word "POINT" revealed a cluster of 91 nouns, verbs with or without subjects, and idioms. Since I''m one of those from the church of "save the best for last" I selected description #91;

Idiom 91 resource states "pertinent, fitting. Example: "short and to the point."

My question to myself was then simply: When I feel stuck after working so diligently and so long to attain a different level in my life, am I missing "the point?"

The next question I asked myself was this: IF I am missing the point, is that the reason I''m feeling stuck in the muck when it comes to motivation?"

I continued to silently extract various elements from the words "pertinent" and "fitting" with simple constructive questions:

When do I know something is a fit for me in my present state of being all that I desire to become?

Why do I feel that others need to know what my level of commitment is when the point I''m trying to make isn''t a fit for those who are not like minded in my thinking?

Where do I make a point about an issue?

Why do I feel pressured to make a point when it is not my responsibility to prove something to someone who is not convinced of a matter, regardless of the facts?

The final self-reflective question to inner-self was this:

In reference to all of the directives that I hear people make day in and day out, I ask myself two final questions that I also challenge others to ask themselves...at least the ones who are feeling "stuck in their own muck" of their choices:

Who is it that will have to live within my skin at the end of the day, and

Who gets blamed for ignoring the changes that need to be made in order to point myself in the right direction for the purpose of which #YHWH placed me on this firmament that humankind refers to as, "the earth?"

Create Greatness in God''s Eyes Alone.

P.S. Everything else will fall into place if we POINT ourselves in the proper direction, and WAIT on the Lord''s instructions. That, ladies and gents, is not called an act of courage nor confidence for courage or confidence are never part of an act called FAITH. Sometimes, just trust and belief is all we need to make our move. Regardless of how we feel, when we choose to make a move, we are never in the same place. And when we see what God has delivered us from, it all began with us choosing not to be stuck.
