Today I posted this Psalm:
Psalm 42.....
Like a deer thirsts for the water of a clear cool stream, my soul thirsts for you, my God. I await with longing the day when I may finally appear before you. I sometimes become unhappy; my spirit becomes downcast, as my enemies deny you and mock me; and yet, always, I discover the joy of your Spirit and turn my face to you, and you heal me.
By day you command my steadfast love, and by night your song comes to me. The wickedness of the world taunts me and evil people put a bullet in my back, saying “Where is your God”? But why are you in turmoil, oh my soul? My hope is in God. I will turn again to you, my Lord, and praise you, my salvation and my God.

I read this Psalm and couldn't stop re-reading it over and over again. It touched my heart so much. The writer expresses his view on comparing his thirst for water to his soul thirsting for God. 
This is how our walk should be in the Lord. We should feel a hunger, a desire to seek God's Word. The writer talks about his enemies that mock him and taunt him when he pursues righteousness for God's kingdom. 
The Bible says many are the afflictions of the righteous. The writer leans on God and turns to him in his afflictions and persecution. 
We too today share these issues. Many persecute Christians for their beliefs. Christians are being silenced for the truth in God's Word.
Today I pray that we hunger and thirst for righteousness. May we find strength in God's Word and hope to boldly proclaim the gospel for His name sake. 

Be blessed this day and I encourage you to move forward. Pray that God give you a thirst and hunger for His Word.....
