In God's WORD, it speaks about guarding our mouths, in what we speak.

I myself try to always remind myself to be careful what I say. It is so easy in anger to speak harsh words that can cut to the heart. Like: I hate you... or You Fool... or using God's name in vain... In these following verses it tells us that we will be accountable for what we speak or say. It also tells us about the blessings that come from a mouth that speaks wisely. A well of life will flow from the mouth of a wisely spoken man. He will also be delivered by his words fitly spoken. Also it states that a wise tongue promotes good health and preserves one's life. Wow, what blessings are stated in these verses. So today we ask God to help us to speak with a righteous tongue. Remember, you can't take back what you have said. So today we praise God and stand in awe at how awesome He is. We Praise Your Name, Oh Most High God, and may clean words come forth from within our hearts this day....

Matthew 12:36

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.

Proverbs 10:11 "The mouth of the righteous is a well of life. . ."

Proverbs 12:6 ". . . the mouth of the upright will deliver them."

Proverbs 12:14 "A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth . . ."

Proverbs 12:18 ". . . the tongue of the wise promotes health."

Proverbs 13:3 "He who guards his mouth preserves his life . . ."
