Yes we had a fight one night after we shared many magical nights as true love was sure there.
Although, you had left upset and the flame once again became very dim and I now fear our chances are slim.
Funny how one minute you are dancing around with your head in a cloud and then the next minute your smiles have turned to frowns as everything comes tumbling down.
However, it cannot turn out this way with us simply giving up now and walking away.
We have sure had many up and downs as some may face along their way.
Love had always led you back my way and the bond was there no doubt.
We went through just about everything there was from arguing constantly and substance addiction as I told you now to be on your way and that I could not live this way watching you become this other person .
To infidelity as I take the blame and will always carry the shame and even dealing with my ex husband that many times was unbearable as he tried to destroy a happy home we now tried to build.
However in the long run we held on strong and tight and never let go completely even though the road was filled with grief and sorrow there was still a brighter tomorrow with you near.
No matter what we faced and might come to hesitate it sure appeared that love somehow always brought us back to this certain place.
When we finally grew up and now realized this love must be true because here I am right next to you twelve years later.
Although there was still many obstacles to face we both did it with such grace.
This past winter all seemed to come in place finally after such a long journey and you stood by my side as days became filled with many disturbing issues.
From our son becoming ill to losing my Mother (grandma) to me suddenly facing my biggest fear as I now went through a Cancer scare and you remained very near until all was clear and would be just fine.
Then joy come into our disrupted world as a new member was born our grandchild actually as she sure brought a new day.
Life of course is not easy just look around daily as constant turmoil never ends in all honesty.
Furthermore, we have been through way to much in the past and come to make it last this far until this day and even though harsh words were once again spoken I sure hope love leads you back my way and to always stay.
In youth we come to relationships with preconceived notions of how the other should act and react and so often these preconceived notions are false for one or the other. But as one grows older, hopefully, one sees the other as an individual with individual attitudes and, childhood notions aside, attitudes can be softened making room for love. Good story, my friend.
