Hello Winkie,

How long has it been since we talked about our life growing up. I thought I would write you a short note. I am doing well as expected with life, my husband is not to well with his falling heath, but he presses on. I am doing my best to do what is right in this crazy world, people seen to have so much hate. Where has the good days gone when we were at home with our grandparents, we would play outside all day long." We had things to do such as swimming in the creeks and taking long walks in the valley.

We never had a care, we were so un-aware of what was really going on around us. Life today is so fast paced and people are out for their self, don't seem to care about others. Remember the days on the porch listening to grandma telling her stories about ghosts and scare us all half to death. We would rarely watch TV we had to use our imgination which was all we had."

Daddy left us with that horrible disease called Cancer at the age of 51 he died a horrible death, only weighing 80 pounds. That horrible disease is still taking lives of people as it almost took me once, I was spared and I wonder why.

I am touching on ramdon things here and there, like I said my note is short, as I to am in a hurry, Oh how life has changed us and I wonder why I let it."

I do the things of life to survive as others do, such as work, cook, clean and canning foods for the winter which is getting rare more all the time with younger generations."

My child is all growed up now and moved on with her life, I am raising the grandchild which so many are in this day and time I am told."

What would they do without us, grandparents, such as me when I was raised by my grandparents and never gave it much thought back then."

I wish over and over again times could be back again, No, that will not ever happen again. we only have one chance to live, and that we all shall have to do.

Well I hope this short notes gives you enough information to let you know how my life is going in a nut shell comapred to back then and Now...
