I recently met artist Gail Plunkett at an event for Women in Visual and Literary Arts in Houston, Texas. We decided to collaborate on a piece of work in which I would write in response to her art. This is called Ekphrastic writing. Everyone who looks at any piece of art will have a different reaction to it depending on their life experiences. The PDF file is my ekphrastic response to her painting "Transformation." Your response may be completely different. I invite you to download and read my story and try a response of your own.
