The blood bank technologist has stayed overnight in the night duty room at the hospital because of a big snowstorm. She gets a call in the early morning hours to cross match blood for a car accident victim. She is all alone in the basement laboratory when strange things begin to happen in the morgue and up in the emergency department.
It all happened in my days as a blood bank tech at the hospital in the 60’s and 70’s. In those days we were rather short staffed and so after working a full day we would take turns being on call from five in the afternoon until eight o’clock the next morning.
