     What happens when the darkness fights back?

At home, Catherine carried on with the day as if the world and its realities were still in place, but the troll crept back during the small hours of the night. The next day, Catherine went back to the underpass at the same time, but the troll wasn’t there. After a few more days, she had begun to consider that she may have imagined the whole thing. But she kept watch on the underpass nonetheless...
