this is my feelings on a review from a Self-published book Competition.
Back at the beginning of the summer I enter my first Writer's Digest Self-published Competition, Well a week ago the judges gave me their review of my book. And I must say after reading that my book doesn't give the readers to digest the work, and that my work is made up of hate and love. the poem that the actually liked was You must escape. I just feel like there is no point in writing what I feel anymore. I have been writing since I was around seven it has been my way of expressing how I felt about myself and my life. My grandparents have always been my encouraging force in my life, we I lost them I keep writing because they always said nothing bets a failure but a try. So I kept trying, and than found a self-publishing company that helped me get my first book out, It was not pretty because the basically ripe me off. Keep trying my best to do my best with it, done what a lot of people suggested I kept writing and pushing, I know there were a lot of spell errors but despite that I still continued to press forward all to now get a review that makes me want to stop writing all together. My passion is been questioned what to do to get myself back on track, do I quit?, do I keep writing, or just be done? At this point I really want to give up!!!!!
