Once a man who was happy and contented with life, was walking down the road. On th side of the road was a man who was sad and deppressed. As the happy man walked by the sad man asked,"Why are you so happy?"
The happy man replied,"Why not?"
The sad man then asked,"Why go on?"
The happy man replied,"Why not?"
The sad man asked,"Why not just join my misery?"
The happy man paused and thought this over. Asking "Why not" is what gave him a reason to be happy. His life's philosophy has been compromised. He slowly awnsered,"Why not?" and sat next to the other man. Now there were just two sad men.
Life is too complicated to be dictated by one rule, motto, philosophy, or perspective. Take things as they come and be willing to change. Otherwise things might not turn out so well.
